BTS’s Suga Jokes About HYBE’s “Nepotism” On His Radio Show

New bickering partner alert 🤣.

BTS member Suga hosted his own weekly radio show on Apple Music, and the fifth and final episode was released on May 16, KST.

Like the last episode, this time too, Suga had a special guest on the show, and it was none other than Lee Byung Euna.k.a Scarecrowperformance director of BTS.

Lee has been working closely with BTS for years now. On the show, he revealed that he started working for BTS with ‘Fake Love’, and since then has been part of some of their most iconic choreography, including ‘Boy With Luv’, ‘Butter’ Grammy performance, and most recently, “Run BTS,” “Like Crazy” by Jimin, and “Haegeum” by Suga. Lee is also involved in Suga’s current solo tour and has traveled with him at all stops.

During the conversation, Lee and Suga reminisced about some of their past performances and how it was back then to work so hard on them. That’s when Suga surprisingly revealed how Lee connected with a BTS member, even before BTS was a thing!

It turns out that Lee Byung Eun was a member of “Neuron,” the Gwangju-based dance team that J Hope was also part of his “Smile Hoya” alias days. He was one of the choreographers of the musical Janhyang, where the BTS member starred as a child actor. Lee credited his experience back then for getting him to where he is in life right now.

While this particular detail was a fascinating revelation for ARMYs, Suga, with his typical dry humor, came to an entirely different conclusion and said his joining HYBE then was, technically, nepotism. Lee burst out laughing and said that’s not the case, but Suga is never the one to back down.

ARMYs couldn’t help but enjoy the humor of the situation and started making jokes about who else Suga might call a product of nepotism at HYBE, including but not limited to , Against Yeontan dog.

Fans also recognize that Suga might joke like that with Lee due to their close friendship.
