THE DEAD DAISIES tease singer JOHN CORABI’s return

John Corabiformer singer of MOTLEY CRUE, THE SCREAM And UNIONapparently joined the rock ‘n’ roll collective known as DEAD DAISIES.

Earlier today (Monday May 15),DEAD DAISIES shared a new video teaser on social media with footage of the band rehearsing at an undisclosed facility in New York City. In the minute-long clip, captioned “As it was, then it will be again…the circus continues…”, founder/guitarist David Lowyguitarist Doug Aldrich and drummer Brian Tichy are joined by former WHITE SNAKE bass player Michael Devin and a singer whose distinct tattoos and body shape seem to match boat.

When a fan reacted to the video on Facebook with the message “Michael Devin And John Corabi. I can’t, I’ve lost my mind – this is the best day EVER!”, DEAD DAISIES replied, “These guys are so ready to rock for you, so it’s great that you’re ready to join them for some rock n roll fun”.

boat joined DEAD DAISIES early 2015 and remained with the band until January 2019, during which time he recorded three studio albums with the band: “Revolution” (2015),“Make noise” (2016) and “Burn It Down” (2018). In the summer of 2019, THE DEAD TRIBUNES announced that they were joined by the legendary DARK PURPLE bassist/singer Glenn Hugheswhich appeared on the band’s last two studio albums, 2021 “Holy Land” and 2022 “Glow”.

Last December, boat confided in his departure from DEAD DAISIESnarrative Backstage pass“I don’t know if maybe I misunderstood the plan, but when I joined the band, it was kind of an agreement where we all sat down and talked, and they said: “We’re probably going to need you maybe half the year and then the other half of the year you can do your thing. And I said, “Okay,” and I got involved. For some strange reason, that first record I did with the band – and I don’t take responsibility for that – but this lineup, this record that we did, it connected a lot of people. And the band started wherever they came from, wherever they were before — we really started doing a lot of festivals; we did a whole series with KISS in America and Europe; we went out with WHITE SNAKE in America, and back in Europe. It was just constant. And I even remember that at one point we did the Rambling Man festival, then I packed my bags and went (to) the rock and blues festival. And we literally played both of these festivals on the same day. And I started to… It was tiring. And then one of the last tours I did with them in Europe, we did… I just remember I did, like, 10 gigs in the UK and one day off, we took the flew to Holland and got a sinus infection and bronchitis. I felt like shit. They gave me an inhaler, then lozenges and all that stuff, and I finished a whole round. We were doing press and we were doing acoustic sets, a two-hour set five days a week. And I kind of said, ‘Man, I gotta get off the carousel for a minute here.’ I was just worried that – if a guitarist breaks a string, he might change it. If you break a drumhead, you can change it. If I breathe in my voice, I’m a little screwed… So I was just a little worried about that. And then the other part was that the schedule was so packed that my son would call me, who’s my drummer in my solo band, and he’d be like, ‘Dad, you literally suck. We were doing all these shows, and now you gon’ do this thing with DEAD DAISIES. When are We will you play together again? So I also had the feeling of guilt swirling around in my head. So I just said, ‘You know what? I’ve been doing this for four years now. I’ll walk away.'”

boat went on to say that he was “always great friends with all (DEAD DAISIES) guys, managers and all their staff. I just texted Doug And Glenn yesterday, ‘Good tour. “So it’s all good,” he said. “I was like, ‘This is crazy.’ The program was absolutely crazy. And I just said, ‘I’m going to do my own thing at my own pace.’ And you have to remember when I left, I left in January (of 2019), and three months later I turned 60. So I was, like, ‘I think I kind of want to slow down A little.'”

Earlier this month, Hughes launched the “Glenn Hughes performs the classic Deep Purple Live – Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Burn album” visit. Glenn is efficient DARK PURPLEthe mythical rock album of “Burn” and also play DARK PURPLE MKIII and MKIV songs.
